I've created lots of posts in my head over the last month and just haven't gotten them down. I've joked that I'm having a 1/3 life crisis as I find myself continue to thinking backward. Trying to figure out who I want to be right now in this moment has been tough for me recently but I attribute that to my over analyzing it. That and being hard on myself. I'm participating in a fantastic photography workshop that has become mostly about me, and very little about photography. I'll have more on that later as I'm still working through. And hopefully soon I'll start to get some answers to the many questions it's raised. I am not intending to be cryptic...I just haven't figured out yet what quite to say.
So while thats going on, Sam continues to entertain. We have many adventures, laughs, tantrums, ornery smiles, pretend telephone conversations, basketball games, Lady Gaga dance parties, girlfriend playdates sesame street ABC's.
No matter what I'm going through, what I'm trying to figure out, the new identity I've taken on as mother is without doubt one that I love.
So until i find those words, sam will tell the story of our past month in photos. my favorite.
i run everywhere. literally everywhere.
theres nothing wrong with a little bit of jelly saved for later.
my favorite commercial. i stop whatever i'm doing and run to dance to it.
more running with my corn popper. daisy hates this thing.
probably talking to daddy. i call him 17 times a day.
all i want is for daisy to chase me...
then when she catches me i'm going to make this face at her so she doesn't steal my ball.
mothers day photos were a disaster. i was tired and didn't feel like cooperating.
so this is the best one mommy got.

i ask mommy questions really loudly all day with my hands like this. i cant understand why the heck she doesn't every answer the right question.
i went to the zoo with my girlfriend maija. she slept the whole time. i just peed my pants and laughed mostly.
sometimes i play nicely on the floor while mommy gets work done on the computer. i have a 4 minute time limit.
i had a lot to tell daddy this day.

my stuffed friend. hes a good pal.
my gf maija again. i really want her to take this toy. maybe i'll just make her do it.
shes pretty cute right?
i found these boots of mommys that i really love.
but found walking in her shoes isn't as easy as it looks.
so i like to stand still in them and shake my money maker. i'm a pretty good dancer. better than daddy, mommy says.
i love my grandpa. he makes funny noises and lets me be ornery.
and he will let me take him anywhere.
and show me how to ride the deere.
mommy and daddy took me to the crick. i watched the doggies chase sticks while aunt erin splashed me.
my cousin aidan is pretty cool. he had fun in the water too.
i liked to drink the crick water off my lips.
